Terms of Service

Last updated: February 2026

1. Introduction

Open Cargo is an online information platform designed to help users identify, compare, and evaluate cargo service providers through community-contributed reviews and ratings.

By accessing or using Open Cargo, you agree to these Terms of Service.

2. Role of Open Cargo

Open Cargo acts solely as an intermediary information platform.

  • We do not provide cargo, logistics, freight, or transport services.
  • We do not handle payments, shipments, contracts, or delivery timelines.
  • We are not a party to any agreement between users and cargo providers.

All interactions, agreements, and disputes occur directly between users and cargo providers.

3. Nature of Reviews and Ratings

Reviews and ratings:

  • represent individual user experiences and opinions,
  • may be subjective, incomplete, or outdated,
  • do not constitute guarantees, endorsements, or professional advice.

Open Cargo does not verify the accuracy of every review.

4. User Responsibilities

Users agree to:

  • post truthful, experience-based content,
  • avoid misleading, abusive, or defamatory statements,
  • use the platform lawfully and responsibly.

Users remain fully responsible for cargo selection decisions, business relationships, and any loss, delay, or dispute arising from cargo services.

5. No Endorsement or Guarantee

Open Cargo does not endorse any cargo provider and does not guarantee service quality, timelines, or outcomes. Open Cargo does not assume responsibility for cargo performance.

6. Enforcement and Termination

Open Cargo reserves the unilateral right to remove content, restrict visibility, and suspend or terminate accounts. This may occur immediately in cases of policy violations, abuse, or risk to platform integrity.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Open Cargo shall not be liable for shipment loss, delay, or damage; financial or business losses; disputes between users and cargo providers; or reliance on platform content.

8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by principles of international commercial law. Any dispute shall fall under the jurisdiction of the competent courts of the operator's principal place of business, unless otherwise required by mandatory law.

9. Changes

Terms may be updated. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
