How OpenCargo verifies trust.
We don't sell rankings. We measure behavior. Here's how our neutral trust infrastructure works under the hood.
Verification Ladder
Trust is not binary. It is a ladder. Anonymous reviews are low-weight. Reviews with route numbers are medium-weight. Reviews verified by admin proof are high-weight.
Quarantine vs Delete
We never delete reviews without a permanent ledger record. If a review is reported, it enters "Quarantine" where both sides provide evidence before the final trust snapshot is updated.
Right-of-Reply
Every cargo has a guaranteed right to respond publicly. Resolution rates measure how many community disputes were solved through public dialogue.
The Trust Ledger
An immutable record of all trust-related events. Any attempt to manipulate metrics is recorded and affects the "Ghosting Risk" indicator.
The Verification Ladder
Higher proof means higher impact on a cargo's reputation.
Admin Verified
Shipper provides full loading list and payment proof. Highest trust weight.
Route Verified
Shipper provides a valid shipment/route number. Moderate trust weight.
Community Reported
Standard review with no external evidence. Lowest trust weight.
